Processing at Vista al Chirripó is approached with patience and precision. After careful harvesting, cherries are dry-pulped without the use of water, allowing the natural mucilage to remain intact while preserving clarity and structure in the cup. The coffee is then spread across African raised beds, where it dries slowly under the mountain sun. During this stage the beans are constantly monitored and turned to ensure even drying, protecting the coffee’s delicate character while maintaining consistency throughout the lot.
Every step reflects the farm’s deep respect for both craft and environment. The high-altitude climate, steady sunlight, and the family’s attentive handling work together to shape a coffee that is clean, refined, and expressive of its origin. The result is a cup that feels elegant and vibrant, capturing the quiet beauty of Costa Rica’s Brunca region and the dedication of the family who has carefully nurtured it.
